About the School
Casa de Paz Montessori is seeking a passionate Spanish-speaking Montessori Primary Guide to join our growing community for the 2026–2027 school year.
This role offers the opportunity to nurture independence, curiosity, and confidence in children within a warm and authentic Spanish immersion Montessori environment.
Our Primary Guides cultivate a thoughtfully prepared classroom where children develop a strong foundation in practical life, language, mathematics, cultural studies, and social-emotional growth. We are looking for an educator who is deeply aligned with Montessori principles and excited to support each child’s natural love of learning.
Position Overview
The Montessori Primary Guide will lead a prepared classroom for children ages 3–6 in a Spanish immersion environment. The guide will support the holistic development of each child while fostering independence, concentration, and a peaceful classroom community.
Responsibilities
- Lead an authentic Montessori Primary classroom for children ages 3–6 in a Spanish immersion environment
- Prepare and maintain an orderly and engaging classroom that supports independence and concentration
- Guide development across Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural areas
- Observe student progress and communicate regularly with families
- Foster a peaceful classroom community rooted in respect and curiosity
- Support children’s social-emotional development, confidence, and independence
- Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support each child’s development
- Participate in professional development and contribute to a reflective teaching culture
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- AMI Primary certification (ages 3–6), OR
- AMS or MACTE-accredited Montessori certification, OR
- Degree or professional experience in Early Childhood Education with strong interest in Montessori education
- Willingness to complete Montessori training (sponsorship opportunities may be available for the right candidate)
- Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a classroom setting
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong understanding of child development and respectful classroom practices
- Warm, collaborative, and professional communication style
- Organized, observant, and committed to continuous growth
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Ability to pass background screening

Position Details
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $49,000 – $53,000 per year
