Montessori Assistants
Montessori Assistants courses offer a comprehensive training in the Montessori methodology for educators.
The courses are designed to help educators develop a respectful view of childhood, understand human development, and learn how to implement Montessori pedagogy.
Courses are available for all age groups, from birth to 12 years old.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive an internationally recognized certificate from the Association Montessori International (AMI).

Orientation and Assistant Course - 0 to 3 years
AMI Orientation and Assistant Course
The AMI Orientation and Assistant Course (0-3 Years) is designed to provide a deeper understanding of human development during the first three years of life and to offer both theoretical and practical tools to support young children in Montessori environments.
Participants may choose to complete only the Orientation program or continue with the full Orientation and Assistant certification pathway. This course is recommended for parents, early childhood educators, Montessori assistants, school administrators, and anyone interested in Montessori education for children from birth to three years of age.

Orientation Program 100% Online
- 60 hours of online theoretical classes
- 9 hours of observation assignments completed through videos
- Completion of 3 practical and theoretical essays
Orientation and Assistant Program
- 80 hours of online theoretical classes
- 9 hours of observation assignments completed through videos
- Completion of 3 practical and theoretical essays
- Completion of 2 practice videos demonstrating Montessori work
- +12 hours of supervised practice in a Montessori environment
The 12-hour practicum may be completed at Montessori Stoppani in San Diego on January 23–24, 2027, or in a Montessori environment led by an AMI-certified guide with at least two years of experience.

Assistants Course- 3 to 6 years
AMI Assistant Course (Children's House)
Objective of AMI Course for Assistants (3-6 Years): Provide a comprehensive understanding of human development from 3 to 6 years and equip with practical and theoretical tools for working as a Children’s House assistant in a Montessori environment.
Who should take this course?
This course is for anyone wishing to depend their knowledge about Montessori Education, its principles and their application for ages 3 to 6. It’s relevant for Parents, Early Childhood Education Teachers, Managers, and Education-focused entrepreneurs.
The course has more emphasis is on the Assistant’s vital role in a harmonious Montessori environment, empowering them with knowledge to aid the guide and maintain class balance.

Elementary Assistants Course - 6 to 12 years old
AMI Assistant Course
Objective of AMI Course for Assistants (6-12 Years): Provide a comprehensive understanding of human development during the second plane (6-12 years) and equip with practical and theoretical tools for working as a Workshop Assistant in a Montessori environment. Graduates will possess knowledge of Montessori philosophy to aid the guide in maintaining class balance.
Who is it addressed to?
This course targets those interested in understanding Montessori principles for ages 6 to 12, covering vital aspects of human development. It’s beneficial for Parents, Early Childhood Education Teachers, Managers, and Education-focused entrepreneurs, with a special focus on the Assistant’s significant role in a balanced Montessori environment.
Certification: Diploma as Workshop Assistant (6-12 years) from the International Montessori Association.
